In your profile you able to select mflblack style to see all forum on black background. It is not finished yet and somewhere pretty ugly, but works give it a try if you want to see it.

Great Idea. Black background is much better for viewing pictures.
Also eye fatigue is less with a black screen IMHO.

I'm liking it as well

Oh yes, now we're living!

Jeez Scott, your avatar is so ugly!

I find black just as bad as white especially with white text on black BG. The most pleasing to the eye is a medium to dark grey...something like Fred Miranda.

"Jeez Scott, your avatar is so ugly!"

My brother had sent me some photos of drunk red necks (where he got them I don't know). I kinda liked this guy so I made him my avatar (since I live in red neck country here)

Sorry to say that, but for me a dark grey would be much much better. Plain white or black is not the best solution.

I tried the black profile, but it's killing my eyes (too much contrast), so I turned back to the old profile. Embarassed

Exactly Andy. Smile

Thanks Attila,
not bad at all but that's too contrasty, let's tweak it Smile
For the black background I would recommend RGB: 45 45 45, for the font something like 190 190 190.
Perhaps we can soften the contrast.

I'm working with dark themes since ten years, it took me ages to adjust Windows 7.
I think it's much better for the eyes.

I agree that a dark background is much better. There is a reason why lightroom uses it. Wink
But I also agree that black is not the best choice. It should be dark grey so that the dividing lines are still visible.

I tried the black and immediately switched back to the original. Even on RFF, the default black is a pita, so I've opted for a brighter theme.

It's unfinished, I will change them when I will have more time.

Roger that!
And thanks for the fast implementation. Smile

Thanks, Attila.

One more thing to check is the link colors. For example, in the standard color set, the links in my signature are a purpleish color while non-link text is black. Under the dark theme, all of the text is light grey, so you can't tell where the links are. Wink
