Just received this and it's a nifty little bit of kit, enabling me to use my small assortment of Retina and Voigtlander lenses on M42.

First up, the Curtagon 28/4, the adapter is to the right.

The Curtagon 28/4 on the K10D.

The Super Dynarex 135/4 on the K10D

The Color-Skopar 50/2.8

I have another Retina lens, the 135 /4 SK, but it's a bit sticky, so didn't bother including it here. It will be worth getting it to work properly, as it's a good looking one, being the bigger brother of the Curtagon in looks.

It looks sexy Wink

How do you rate the performance of these Retina lenses?

It does, doesn't it? The Skopar is very pancake-like and the Curtagon just looks right.

I don't know yet Smile
Tomorrow, I'll take them out for a wee spin around the block.

I have bought a Schneider 50/1.9 in Retina mount recently ... knowing that Schneider lenses are above average ... i am impatiently waiting for an opportunity to test it out.

This Schneider is much bigger than the standard 50/2.8 lens, same size as the a Pancolor 50/1.8 M42 lens.

The 50/1.9 is a Xenon, so it's a 6 lens design the same as the Pancolar (or the Planar for the matter).

I'm very very curious about how they'll work... btw do you also have a similar adapter for EOS cameras?

I have a version to Canon EOS and to Nikon as well.
However, I played with the Retina-to-M42 version, and i think this adapter works very nicely with a M42-to-Canon EOS adapter, and i know that you have these adapters Wink

Alex
Does the Nikon focus to infinity? Is the EOS chipped? How much are they?

Yes, the DKL-to-Nikon will do infinite.

DKL-to-M42 (or to EOS / or to Nikon) costs EUR70 shipped
For the EOS, yes, you can get a chip.

If you have a Nikon body as well, you could use an DKL-to-Nikon + Nikon-to-EOS adapter.

Out of curiousity, Alex, where is your store? Is it on ebay? Sorry, I'm new here.

Yes, and the Voigtländer Bessamatic/Ultramatic, and also the Kodak Retina Reflex (as long as these have the Deckel Bayonet).
