Very nice shots. I love them all. The pinks in #2 are very soothing as they meet the green background.

Congrats on your 3 months with a DSLR. I am sure you will have lots of great experiences with the medium. I am assuming you changed your username coz Hari is an "a positive name". I have found the this forum to be a very resourceful place with a bevy of experience.

I love the vibes of your first image.

Regards

Taken with a Pancolar 50mm f/1.8 (M42) + Canon 350D.

Taken with a SeriesE 105mm f/2.5 (M42) + Canon 350D. The brand is quite unusual. I have never seen a similar lens anywhere else. i know that Nikon has these "Series E" lenses but this one is "SeriesE" (no space) and doesn't look like any Nikon product. The M42 version's gone but now I have another copy of this lens but in a mount that I have never seen, lol.

I'm certainly no match for the artistic perspectives of the rest of the group, but I was pretty happy with how this shot turned out:

Vivitar 500mm + Soligor 3x TC + 1.52x D40 crop = 2,280mm...
handheld at 1/100, f/16, ISO 1600. Shocked

For reference, here's the same shot 38 seconds later at 18mm (27mm equivalent):

Very Happy
