Well, my Meyer Optik 4/300 also has 20 blades. Can't quite match the Novoflex |

Age and preset/automated are relevant information too. Counting through my large format lenses, 20-24 blades seem to have been the pretty non-exciting standard there until they added support for various systems for aperture automation and behind-the-camera control in the sixties. Similar things happened in 35mm - my preset lenses tend to have roughly twice the blades of automatic ones of similar focal length. _________________ Sevo |
