Same as this -

http://forum.mflenses.com/caspeco-old-tokina-300-5-5-preset-t2-mount-t12261,highlight,tokina+300.html

Pretty good on the whole, long minimum focus. Get some extension rings.

I take it back - it isn't like mine.

Its modelled after that classic old preset Tokina but its made by someone else. The dimensions are different, different engraving and it focuses the other way.

I'm going to guess the maker is Sankor. I have not tried this one.

Thanks,I just realised I don't know what the mount is so it will be interesting when it gets here Embarassed

Lens received but looks like a damaged mount see the pictures the mount removes from the lens but not in the way it is meant to...it looks like the grub screws are not holding it to the lens there are 3 of them and from past experience with these type of screws they hold things in place...any opinions on a fix?I have an idea what to do but will see what you say.Clear glass but for one spot of fungus and possible separation around the front element...but not where it counts. For the price of this lens I will keep it and try to fix it so i can use it.Do you see anything else wrong that I may have missed??

#2 The mount when sitting on the lens ..note the gap it is very unstable for a quick fix I would need to tape it to the mount then use it on a tripod.

#3Pulled the mount end off.

#4 note the little brass screw that has to come out more to catch on the other bit of the mount.

#5 The 2 pieces

#6The mount that can screw into the camera

#7The other side that the little brass screw should sit in this indent to hold everything in place. There are 3 similar around the rim.

I've seen this type of mount several times before. Sometimes they have a screw in bit in the middle, which when removed reveals that the mount is actually a t-mount.

In this case, I suspect the mount is very similar to a t-mount and is the same type as my Aetna Coligon, made by Sankor. If this is correct, Luis is spot on once again. I replaced my mount of this type (but for Exakta) with another from an M42 Prinz Galaxy branded lens, so it seems they were interchangable Surprised

I think you are right in the T mount aspect but it should not remove from the lens where it does There is no stability when it is attached to the camera and infinity does seem to be off a fraction....I don't have the right screw driver at the moment to investigate further.
I have an screw mount T adapter and a K/m T adapter so I see what you mean about the bit in the middle Smile

Based on these two photos, it would appear as though this assembly is impossible to put back together? Confused Confused If you let those little screws come out a bit to catch those indentations, then the tolerances would be too tight - you wouldn't be able to put the mount piece back in.

However, putting on the detective hat, it looks like the mount piece doesn't have any scrapes or marks between the indent and the lip... which means that it wasn't forced on by the manufacturer.

This makes me think that the flat ring inside the lens (the one with the three screws) somehow comes out, and the screws can then be tightened against your mount piece from the opposite side.

Very Happy I just pulled off the piece below the tripod ring (picture #5) and under that there are 3 screws that indeed tighten onto that indent but once you but the mount on and tighten everything up you CAN NOT put the little piece back on under the tripod ring???.....do you think the tripod ring is the correct one?
Frustrating part is I do not have a big enough screw driver to see if I can unscrew the 3 screws from the side of the mount. Rolling Eyes and dismantle that to see if it will work that way.

Hmmm Just re read this part will have a look when I am ready to tackle the minute grub screws again ...tricky little sods to get back in Very Happy

This is what I slid off from under the tripod collar

Can you take another photo of what else you disassembled, and what you are going to try to unscrew next?

I think those three little screws should be pretty easy to tighten... once you pull out the ring that doesn't come out. Very Happy

But seriously... I think it comes out. I just have no idea how. Very Happy

Success!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy You had to unscrew the knurled/ribbed ring then remove it from the mount by taking out the 3 screws then slide the bit from under the tripod ring over the mount then you had perfect access to tighten those other 3 screws then slide it back over put its screws back in then just replace the knurled/ribbed mount ring...so happy it worked!!
#1Removed the first screw from the Knurled/ribbed mount ring

#2 Slid off the "piece" to get access to the 3 hidden screws which when tightened hold the mount firmly in place....WOO HOO!!!!

To say I am a happy chappy is an understatement Laughing I don't think it is a T mount after taking it apart it is just M42.

Haha. Very Happy

My secret is to always take lenses apart on the edge of a tall table over carpet. That way, when I drop the little screws, they are guaranteed to be lost forever. Very Happy

Nice work! Cool

So does that mean that it is all fixed? Good as new? Ready to take some test shots?

Just connecting some topics in case anyone in the future stumbles onto this by a search. Wink

All three of these lenses appear to be very similar:
