The "Ihagee Magnear Lens-Viewfinder" looks interesting!

And the price of the 800mm Telon. $750! Shocked

Inflation is one thing, the other is that these lens are very hard to find. And rare stuff costs more.

I have the Magnear btw, with the loupe eyepiece, which is the one to have, as the best alternative is an expensive large aperture wide angle lens - large aperture because the aperture limits the image size.

It is VERY cool. I wish I had one for DSLR !
