I'll reveal names of the lenses later, but anyone can guess. Thread is opened to any discussion, of course

I have no idea, but whatever the manufacturer or lens, these two have great bokeh - the transition to out-of-focus areas is very nice in lens B.

Came to the same conclusion but in reverse. The first looks like a Takumar and the second (especially in how green is rendered) looks like a Zeiss. So does the person who guesses correctly win the lenses those were taken with? _________________ Chris Watson

The Bokeh more distracting in the photo of the cup, makes me think Takumar. _________________ Canon 5D II-Sony nex 6

Dunno what the lens is, but I find it amazing how closely you can match exposure & color between shots. I remember you posting this one, from your CZJ Pancolar 55/1.4. I thought "Lens B" might be from the same set, but the EXIF shows that they were taken almost a month apart!

A is a 58mm 2.0 russian. Not sure if a Helios 44M (seems like a newer version, 5th-7th gen. because the light transmission is good) or a Zenitar.
It is pretty hard to determine B, if im correct about A, the should be also a russian, but pretty hard to determine the focal lenght, because it seems the pictures are not all taken with a wide aperture. So Im unsure... The bokeh doesnt look like a Helios, but Im not familiar with the bokeh of older Helios 44 lenses. It can be an Industar...
Thats my best guess.
