That's quite a lens!
What is the overall length, and how much do you think it weighs? Visually it looks like it should have a tripod mount for extra support... but I guess it is not needed? _________________ Sigma DP1, Nikon D40 (hers ), Polaroid x530, Pentax P30t, Pentax P50, (P30t/P50 K-A to Nikon F body mount conversion)

237mm long at infinity (255mm near focus) and not that heavy compared to it's size. It weights 390 gram.
In comparison the 3 inch is 360 gram.

Hail Nordentro!

I like the lens, but love the rendition provided, very natural. Many posters sometimes appropriately, boost colour and contrast to the max. Care to disclose your settings?
The weight isn't an issue as these longer lenses are mostly empty. But do you find it easy to take shots hand held? The balance is better than the 3 inch? |

Thx, I find m 4/3 to be an interesting arena for playing with C mount lenses ! They can give you some really interesting results

Pictures where taken in afternoon on a cloudy day and may explain lesser contrast and I like to keep my setting neutral

Longer lens = better balance for sure! Because of the wider grip

Found these samples from the 2010, with an "old" (for today) Olympus. What a picture quality, very impressive!
I wonder if this lens was tested with a more modern and wider frame camera. Did it shine even more? |

Agreed, it's lovely. It would be great to see if it would stretch to apsc. |
