For what it is worth, the seller only has 6 feedbacks...

Fish-AYE, me ladd! Shiver me timbers, yar!

Low feedback on the part of the seller isn't too much to worry about, since they are likely to be still within the period where their funds are withheld by Paypal till they receive a positive feedback or 21 days since shipping the item. If the item turns out significantly faulty, it shouldn't be a problem to get your money back Smile

I've got my Mir-20M described as a 'Russian fisheye lens' (from another seller) Smile It turned out to be indistinguishable from new (in its original pouch, with manual in Russian and filters still in oiled paper), except for a loose focusing ring that I fixed by simply tightening the small screws outside.

What I can't understand is why the bidding is pumping so high.

Some time ago I was able to buy a razor sharp, NIB copy for 90 euros. If manual focus lenses prices are going to increase like this it will be easier to buy modern AF lenses instead Rolling Eyes For that reason i continue keeping my old EOS 50 like a treasure even if I don't use it.

My approach to MF lenses was the opportunity to shoot great glass at resonable prices, at the cost of lose focus and aperture automation. But as I see nowadays is easier to buy a brand new Planar 50 1,4 in m42 than some less performant M42 "collector" items.
