My ($20.00USD) Pen-F 38mm got oil on its blades. I start looking for its replacement, just in case. Any suggestion for a good and not-too-expensive 35mm to 40mm? I need something sharp at f/2.8. Something under $80.00USD, so please do not suggest the Distagon. Oh, and it's for m4/3 so not worry too much about vignette or distortion. _________________ When I try to be a photographer I manage to add an f to art. |

If it will fit, a Canon FDN 35mm f2.8 is an excellent lens and still going cheap...haven't really checked it out at F2.8 though. _________________ Canon A1, AV1, T70 & T90, EOS 300 and EOS300v, Chinon CE and CP-7M. I recommend the Mir 1B, 37mm f/2.8, M42. Very good IQ, sharp, at least in the center (on 4/3, you don't care too much about softness in corners anyway), really inexpensive (got mine for 20 EUR), built for military. _________________

I second that. Very nice lens with consistent performance and reasonably sharp wide open. Great colour rendering too. |
