Just some more images from the Hektor using the Pentax Helicoid I purchased recently. The Hektor is hand held onto the camera and focus is by moving backwards and forwards ever so slightly. I am only able to use infinity or the close focus settings on this lens....rather confusing when you add another turning dial on the helicoid!...and you run out of hands.I have on my to get list the M39-M42 ring that should help in this case.
#

# Even in winter there is growth happening albeit very slowly.

# This one I just loved the diseased leaf colours with the sun behind making it see through...I did miss the focus.

#

# This little flower was hiding under some other plant..again the focus is rather ordinary but the colours I think are beautiful.

#The roses are still hanging in there!

# The bud on the bottle brush just starting to form.

Once you have that adapter, there is a whole world of enlarger lenses for you to try out as well. Cool

Thanks for the encouragement they certainly are not the best images, but I like the bokeh and colours and I am always amazed at the texture of plants...the velvet look, smoothness etc.
I do have a Pentacon bellows set on the way so there is a whole new world/learning curve about to come my way... Very Happy
