Wonderful quality there, Bill.
How noisy is the film advance? I heard it clanged a bit with the pull-push.

Dave, mine doesn't seem all that noisy, no clanging, just a snick-snick
sound out and back in, for advancing. Very smooth, too, hope it stays
that way (knock on wood).

You truly have one of the great cameras in the world. Those lenses are scary sharp.

Thanks, Jules, here's some test shots using that expired Provia (Oct, 2006) that I offered to you but didn't want. I'll never forget that, Jules,
you broke my heart. Laughing

will rescan this, was VERY curly, but I didn't feel like waiting

Bill: the image of the lake is impressive.

PostPosted: Fri Jun 05, 2009 1:13 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

That lake or what ever it is and the last shot are killer Bill.

I'm anxious to see your shots with the new lense.

PostPosted: Fri Jun 05, 2009 2:20 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

Orio and Ron, thanks, not overly happy with the first two, and shooting
the same scene twice when you have only 10 shots doesn't give you
much variety. Laughing

The lake is a duck pond fed by Big Spring.

The 180 looks in great shape, is in much better cosmetic condition than
the 90.

There's a guy shows up at the monthly camera show with a Rapid Omega, and while the results are obviously awesome, seems like you develop some muscles carrying one around Wink

Damn fine lens.

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

the shot with the lake is just AMAZING!!!

I am shocked by these results -- I am very tend to go for this camera in the future!!!

KATASTROFO -- what about those fish, please? Can you explain this?? Smile

Nesster, yes, the camera is a weighty thing, but I don't mind it at all. The
180 feels like it weighs 3 times as much as the 90, so will see if I still think
so. There's provision for a neck strap, but that would indeed border on the
masochistic. Wink

Trifox, the pond ist stocked with both goldfish and koi. This camera is one
of the cheapest ways to get into 6x7 and like Nesster says, "damn fine
lens".

Thank you both for your comments.

Bill

Simply fantastic results, Bill. You really "mesh" with that camera. Can't WAIT to see some 180 images. However, I'll just content myself with looking again at your 90 images. Just plain awesome. Cool

I can imagine capturing all the detail in something like our rain forests...wow!

a few days from the 180.
