Seriously I like the Ricoh stuff, but for 35mm with 42mm screw lenses I think the GAF takes the biscuit.. and it came with a Tomioka made 55mm f1.4 lens too
It's big (so maybe a woman's smaller hands might find it clumsy or heavy) but for me with man-mitts it's just fine
and as for a new set of stairs.. certainly a larger one.. maybe one of those sweeping affairs one sees in 1940's Holywood movies?

I love the Panasonic.. ok it maye not be as 'clean' as the EOS line at high ISO but it has great tonal rendering, it was one of the first to have live view, and I like dials and buttons not menus where the eye leaves the frame... it is also great as it unlike the Oly cosins DOES focus confirm ANY lens fitted.. which is nearly every 35mm lens ever made!
