I saw your other post with the Spiratone 18/3.5 (http://forum.mflenses.com/spiratone-ys-13-5-f18mm-t32821.html). Which of the two do you think is better? Question

Hi Scheimpflug, I don't know, they seem identical, but the 1:3.2 is slightly brighter and has sightly closer minimum focus. I do notice that coating reflections are different; the 3.5 reflections have more pronounced color shifts, the 3.2 reflections are more natural. I would say the 3.2 has better coatings. Both lenses have coatings reminiscent of those on some binoculars, the yellow-orange. More testing required...

The 3.2 upgrade loses the A-M switch.

The YS mount has T-thread; any T-mount can be used. The lens has a pin that operates the diaphragm; YS adapters can link camera auto operation to pin depress, and have aperture coupling. Spiratone YS Interchangeable Auto Mount Booklet
