Also they are none too sharp.. what scanner did you use or are these done by a local store? I know you work so unless there is something really wrong somewhere this is doing neither the camera nor you justice!

Looks the same to me.
The saturation is quite easy to fix, but the highlights are lost... I checked the histograms, and they look pretty good aside from the clipping at the high end...
