The saturation seems very low, and the highlights burned out?

Also they are none too sharp.. what scanner did you use or are these done by a local store? I know you work so unless there is something really wrong somewhere this is doing neither the camera nor you justice!

Strange, they look way sharp on my new Toshiba 17.3-inch screen. And rich enough in color, too. Please look in the oversize gallery ...

Looks the same to me. Neutral

The saturation is quite easy to fix, but the highlights are lost... I checked the histograms, and they look pretty good aside from the clipping at the high end... It's not a lot of clipping, but I suppose it seems worse than it is since it falls on your subjects.
