Got a new toy today from ebay member siberia37, homemade from standard 6x7-PK adapter.

I need to fashion a metal hole for nikon-EOS adapter retaining pin to drop into, no problem. Works as described. This could be fun!

5D1 + 6x7 S-M-C Macro-Takumar 135/4 wide open no PP except to crop and convert to jpeg.

"This way":

"There":

Oh! Almost forgot. These crops are actual pixels!!! Very Happy

Thank you siberia37!

So you're using a Pentax lens, on a Pentax adapter modified to Nikon, with a Nikon-to-Canon adapter, on a Canon camera? Shocked Very Happy

Any reason you didn't just buy a P67-to-EOS adapter and be done with it? Wink

Laughing yep! Laughing

It has authentic Asahi Pentax 6x7 lens mount, cost less than half the price of 3rd-party 6x7-EOS adapter, and I already have Nikon-EOS adapter! Besides, I might get a Nikon camera someday Wink

Ahh, that makes sense. The only thing I could think of was that you had a bunch of Nikon lenses and liked to keep the Nikon adapter on the camera. Wink

Do you have a picture of your adapter and its modifications?

Looks like a pretty clean conversion!

What holds the silver ring in place?

The Nikon lens mount is fastened to a Delrin (nylon) insert, seen as white surround in photo. Unclear if that piece is part of the original adapter or added. The only problem is the surface with the cut slot to capture the retaining pin of the Nikon-EOS adapter is too low; I need to find a washer & drill a hole in it for the pin, or fashion a couple of blocks either side of the slot.

I think if the stop screw is in place under the one bayonet tab, you would only need to build up one side of the slot?
