Wow! And I don't mean a silly computer game, but WOAH!

The cup is the Korean made UMC-version which fits most cameras. The magnification may be even 1.35x as that's what the eyepiece itself says; packaging says 1.3x.

This item is of far higher quality than the Nikon eyepiece I used for a while on my previous camera, the EOS 350D - the Nikon eyepiece simply stank. This Korean one is of far higher quality in every way. Solid build quality, 3-element lens of high quality - not much distortions, presumably anti-fog and anti-pollution coatings. The viewfinder of my Pentax K20D seems at least as bright as before, even though it should be less bright due to the magnification. And the viewfinder is huge! There is a little vignetting, though surprisingly less than what the far less magnifying Nikon maginifier had on the Canon 350D, plus it seems brighter and clearer! I can even see the information on the viewfinder without moving eye!

The magnified attaches really well on my camera, reallly tightlly (and really easily too). This is beginning to sound like an advertisement, but the thing feels just great! As it protrudes a bit, there is more space for ones nose too Smile

I've not yet gone outdoors with the thing, but will go after a while. The thing feels awesome!

Unless I get any nasty surprises outdoors, I must say I highly recommend this accessory for all MF-users. It does cost ablout 40 euros I think, but, again, unless anything nasty happens outdoors, I must say it's the best 40 euros I've spent in a loooooooong time. One caveat: if your camera's viewfinder optics are of low quality, maginifying the view will also magnify any flaws.

I bought mine from this place (link to page with the viewfinder magnifiers): http://stores.shop.ebay.ie/PIXLAMB_View-Finder_W0QQ_fsubZ323925519QQ_sidZ389028779QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em322 - fast delivery to EU.

Does this mean you poke your eye for a while until you get used to it? Very Happy

I was just outdoors with this accessory. I can only say that it makes a massive difference! I will not remove it from my camera for as long as I use the camera. The hit/miss ratio improved lots - much faster to get get a much better focus.

I highly recommend this viewfinder magnifier.
