Welcome to the forums! Cool

We would be better able to answer your question if we had a bit more information about you. For example, what lenses do you already have, do you have any lens adapters, etc, etc.

Also, where are you located? Your $200 budget can be radically different if your $ is US, CA, AU, NZ, or HK. Wink

Beyond that, have you tried the search function? There are thousands of posts here about macro lenses, and Canon is definitely the dominant DSLR brand around here.

So obviously you are looking for the range up to about 1x (maybe a tad more). Get the Macro Takumar 4/100mm and a cheap M42.Canon adapter and you are all set! It is a tack sharp and contrasty lens. Search on flickr and you'll find exactly pics like the ones you want...

85/1.4: your only option for the budget is a Samyang-made Korean lens sold under many, many names on eBay (and I've seen some unbranded 85/1.4's too; all the same lens). Try searching eBay for "85mm canon", and you'll find a lot of these things for around $230-300 delivered. Brands can be Samyang, Polar, Walimex, Opteka, Bower, Rokinon, Vivitar, and a few more. Same lens nevertheless.

Macro lens: I bought my Nikkor AIS 100/2.8 macro for less than $200. If you're patient, you can probably get one for around that price. Otherwise, Nikkor 100/4 Macro is no slouch either. Of course both lenses can be used on a Canon adapted, and of course you can add magnification with spacer rings.

A cheaper option would be a Vivitar Macro Focusing 2X Teleconverter and a cheap 50mm lens in the same mount. Not quite the quality of a dedicated macro lens, but the cost can be as low as $25 for the TC + $20 for the 50mm lens Smile

One more question when write" Maximum reproduction ratio 1:1/1:3" etc... What does it mean?

See if you can find yourself a Tokina ATX 90mm f2.5 or a Vivitar Series 1 90mm f2.5. These are alo known as Bokina's. I am using them giving me these results (like the pictures you showed): http://flickriver.com/photos/elchivato/popular-interesting/

Good luck,
Jerry

1x - 0.3x magnification (size of object / size of object on film or sensor)
i.e. say bug of 10mm is also 10mm wide on sensor at 1x magnification,
so if your sensor is a full format sensor of 24 x 36mm, that bug would fill
10mm/36mm = 28% of your sensor at 1x. a 36mm long bug would fill it
completely, 100% of the sensor width.

At 0.3x you would only have 1/3 of that size above on your sensor.
