See the lens here http://forum.mflenses.com/a-new-toy-bower-135-3-5-t29299.html
I took it out to run it through its paces and discovered it does not focus to infinity...the front focus ring is wobbly so possible a screw loose somewhere( Laughing )The infinity mark lines up on the barrel mark but looking through it you can see the uneven lines on what ever you are focusing on out by at least a 1mm...It is a T mount with M42 "CS" marked adapter on it.
I have never tried to fix an infinity issue before are all lenses the same in that regard (one set of instructions fit all lenses)? I can use Google to find out how to do this but just need that question answered if possible.
Thanks.

It sounds like the CS mounts are thicker than the standard T mounts... Perhaps that is the source of your problem? Question

Thanks I will look into that,
I also found out the large screw if loosened will allow the turning of the ring past infinity and the smaller screw above the large one when tightened stops the looseness of the focusing ring. It's too late here now for me so will have a look at that site tomorrow. Very Happy

Ok I tried it with The "CS" mount a "P" mount and a Pentax "K/m" mount,I don't seem to have a blank T mount.
Any way the closet to infinity was from the k mount T mount adapter.I will add that I tried all the T mounts that are screw mounts, with my Pentax K to M42 adapter that sits inside my Ricoh. Of course I did not use that with the K mount T mount adapter.. Very Happy
Looks like it is the lens itself that is missing the mark...I also tried it on my TLS screw mount camera and it still did not look right.

See the pic below the large screw allows the focus ring to move past infinity(when loosened) and the smaller screw holds the ring in place when tightened..(there are 2 other smaller screws)
How should I proceed to fix the infinity?

SkedAddled has posted an excellent tutorial on how to adjust the infinity stops, which you can find here:

I've had this one in my rated list for a few months now, I figured I would need to do the same adjustment myself at some point. Cool

Thanks That looks like the answer!
I did undo the 3 grub screws and removed them and the rotating barrel drops to reveal 3 indentations where the grub screws sit.I did this while leaving the larger screw as is.I am a bit timid to experiment further as I hate realigning the helicoil...
