Sonnar 180/2.8 p6 + pancolar 50/1.8 (both zebra) for €90.

Shocked oh wow!

I must say that the external condition of the sonnar is far from excellent: the barrel is dirty and shows some paint loss.
On the other hand, glass seems incredibly pristine, except some major dust -on the outside Smile .

I haven't got my laptop here, so I can't check pics at full res, but what I see through the EVF it's giving me good vibrations.

To me, if you find a bargain like yours I wouldn't care what the outside looked like. Sure it would be a bonus if it was clean and pretty looking, but the essential element (for me, at least) is that it works as it should. Well done for finding them. Very Happy

I've been quietly following the Tamron 500mm Mirror lens thread when suddenly this shown up in the online local ads.

- Minolta X-9 (with a working battery)
- Minolta MD 50mm f1.7
- Minolta MD Zoom 70-210mm f4.5-f5.6
- Tamron SP 55BB (2 bend on the outside filter ring, I might need help with this, other than that, it need a little outside lens cleaning)
- Vivitar Auto Thyristor 550FD (with 4 working AA battery)

for $80 CAD.

Considering I have Canon DSLR, I'll have to find an Adaptall mount that fits.

Edit :

Stupid question...

Should I go with an Adaptall-m42 or Adaptall-EOS. Both are the same price on the bay.
I have 2 m42 2x tele-converter, no EOS. Would that lens be useful with a tele-converter ? It's quite slow on it's own.

Today while scouraging the fleamarkets I stumbled upon one that I have never been to before by accident. I couldn't find any photogear but far in the corner, under a few boxes I found something very interesting. A Ronex color tv game in it's original box. First generation black including the light pistol. For you who don't know this, it was the first video game ever made, made by Nintendo before they became Nintendo. I bought it for 10 euro. I have no idea what it's worth as ebay has no record of one being sold.
Tho it was rather camera related aswell, it turned out he didn't have any camera gear in the store, but he was an old photographer and had a full set of mamiya lenses and a camera, aswell as two other systems he couldn't remember what they were including lenses and accessories at home. He would bring them in next week so I could take a look at them Smile.

I also bought a fondue pot and had a very nice dinner. Now I am out in the dark to shoot some landscape shots of my fair city.

Hi, it's hard to think of a situation where you could use a 500+2xTC handheld unless the light is extremely bright. You'll need a fairly high ISO, a tripod and remote release and a static subject, but other than that I can't see why it would be a problem - it's a great deal!

Most third-party M42 TCs are fairly low quality in my experience. If you want to use a TC then the Tamron 1F would be a much better bet for you I think. This would fit directly on the mirror lens. As for AD2 adapters, I don't have an EOS one myself so I can't speak from experience there, but I haven't heard of any problems using the Chinese ones. I use genuine Tamron adapters, usually M42 on the Canon, with an M42>EOS adapter, and on film cameras and the NEX I use genuine Tamron PK and MD adapters direct.

Wow, there's a few gems there, quite a haul for that price. The 35-70 is legendary and the 70-210 f4 I won recently has proved worthy of being its big sister. Really well done! Smile

Her recently deceased husband had been a top graphic artist and I explained that the package was worth a lot more but she needed the space and enough to buy an iMac 27",so I guess we were both happy.

used 35mm f/2 nikkor for $175, used for a bit, sold for $100 more.

My real deals were... 60d+18-135mm IS new from major canon authorized dealer, and a 70-200 f4l IS (canon refurb)--Can't say how much, but will say under $250 each. lol. Friend with friend in high places that owed him big favors, lol.

Lot of fun items for cheap from salvation army that I've cleaned, used, and flipped. Recent one was a 28mm f/2 Kiron. Got for $10, sold for $120 on ebay lol. Couldn't adapt it cuz I have no mirrorless cams.
