I was of course thrilled at the offer, but even more surprised when this arrived:
I was seriously impressed by the care and effort put into the packaging... all of this for a broken camera.  Truly the bar has been raised, one of the best packaged shipments I have ever received. 
Of course, the camera is perfect, aside from the known internal damage:
So thanks again, Peter, for going the extra mile to help another member. My P30t will now get a second chance at life. One more old camera has been saved from the rubbish bin.
