This is the second roll of Arista Ultra Edu 200 (Fomapan 200) that I had
lines running through the entire roll. I first thought there was something
in the Kodak Signet 35 causing this, but these are from the Minolta SRT
101:

This makes PP a total PITA.

Aside from that, I'm thinking I would've had better results using the 1+50
at 8-10 minutes to reduce the grain. I used the same spool but can't imagine that being the culprit as what would be touching the film this
way? Only the edges touch the spool...

Rodinal 1:100, stand 60 minutes at 19-21C temp variance:

1 and 3 were shot with the MC Rokkor 1.4/50 PG at f2, the 2nd one was
with the MD 35-70 zoom, macro set on 1:7 at either wide open or f4. Love
these Rokkor lenses!

Looking at the scans from the first roll thru the Kodak Signet 35, there is
only one line running through the entire roll. Thinking this might be dirty
cassettes causing this.

Don't forget to check your bulk loader as well.

Good advice, however, these were NIB rolls of film.

...there aren't stand development lines - they're scratch lines.

Either your film is scratching along the light trailer, or your camera back/loading system, or somewhere in the mechanical transport of the film across the shutter.

Stand development lines follow chemical diffusion principles: they aren't as definite as these which are black, on account of the emulsion being scratched off.

Sorry Sad
