135mm is optically identical to SMC Takumar 135/3.5 (in a mint condition, seems sharp)
(btw, shot by D700+MP100@f8 )

If you ever do decide to use filters on this lens, one handy trick is to take a spare filter, remove the glass, and thread it onto your damaged lens. This new filter ring can then be left in place on the lens, even permanently if desired.
This will give you a nice clean, straight set of filter threads for your other filters to thread into, so that they won't bind or be damaged when used on your damaged lens.
