Happy birthday and happy shooting.
I have yet to try a Nikon lens...
My own birthday is in April, but after 30 you are
a grown-up and do not need excuses to get lenses.
So I ordered 2 Zeiss lenses in the weekend
Considering this, you may want to stop at 29 forever... _________________ Νίκος • www.diafragma.gr

"I have socks older than that." That's very funny. Although, come to think of it, I DO have socks older than that. Now I'm depressed.
Oh, wait, lenses! I keep hearing the 24/2.8 is a great lens, but I've not had the pleasure of using one...yet. As for the 35/2: Nice lens! It's sharp, takes great pictures, and gives a much better perspective than a 50mm, in my opinion, anyway.
Ai. Yeah. If you want to use it on your D90, you'll have to have it converted. Also, if you lock the metering lever up out of the way on the FE (check out the manual, it'll tell you how), you can mount and use non-Ai lenses. But, you'll have to use the old stop-down method of aperture control, because the FE can't control the aperture on a non-Ai lens. John White does good, clean work. I've sent him a lens or two.
Enjoy your new lenses!! _________________ The longer I use autofocus lenses,
