Well here's a long shot...
I'm an audiovisual student studying in the Netherlands, and I recently acquired a pretty good Xenon 50/0.95, but the rear element is almost opaque due to fungus. I removed the fungus, but it had etched itself into the glass. Sad I tried everything, but alas, it has etched itself so deep that it is unsalvageable.
Therefor I'm looking for a rear element of this lens, as the rest is in perfect condition. Just the last part of the lens, unscrews easily.
Do you have a busted lens? Do you have one of which everything's busted, but the glass is okay? I'm okay with some scratches or what not, everything's better then this 'groundglass' of a rear element!
Please let me know! Any help is gladly appreciated.

Zeiss recommends cigarrette ash for polishing...

It's really too deep to polish, if I did that I'd have very little glass left... At least not enough to complete the optic formula of the lens.
It's painful having such a beautiful lens here without the rear piece... Sad

Welcome to the forum, and best of luck with your search!

For what it is worth, do you happen to have any photos of your lens? With and without the fungus would be interesting to see...

As it seems quite unlikely to find just the rear element of this rare lens, I would suggest trying to figure out a replacement for it, i.e. measure the physical size and, if possible, focal length and see if there's a close match to be found.
