This is fantastic! Way to go, Klaus, you deserve to have your spectacular images shown to the public. It's so BEAUTIFUL to see what the human eye cannot see normally.

Congratulations!

Thanks a lot Larry!

Thjis was just published by BBC:

((quote from BBC))
In Out Of Sight, Richard explores the extraordinary wonders of the world beyond the visible spectrum.

The human eye is a remarkable piece of precision engineering. But beyond the narrow range of light that makes up the familiar colours of the rainbow is a vast spectrum of light that is entirely unseen. In fact, the visible world is just the tiniest sliver of a far greater reality.

Now, through the use of ground-breaking new imaging technologies and state-of-the-art cameras, Richard Hammond takes a journey beyond the visible spectrum, seeing the world, quite literally, in a whole new light.
...
Closer to the ground, ultraviolet cameras transform the view of an ordinary flower garden, capturing a dizzy array of hidden patterns and colours – an insect's eye view.

I'm not a TG fan so I don't know about his teeth, wouldn't surprise me though. On Tuesday I thought he looked a bit more erm.. "mature" (if that's possible), and I'm sure he's had his hair restyled. Smile

Do you honestly like Clarkson ?

Well, errrrr, no Smile Can't stand his "oversized ego"

But that was the only car tv show I enjoyed watching (before my cable company trashed BBC and I got rid of my TV set).

Sadly I've seen many good TV programmes the plot and go downhill over time, I guess as new producers and writers take over. TG is one of them - it's become silly and sensation-seeking and Clarkson reminds me very much of a bully I once knew at school! Fifth Gear is more sensible.

So tonite is the night, BBC One 21:00 GMT (22:00 CET) Episode 2 will be aired.

(quote BBC)

The human eye is a remarkable piece of precision engineering. But it’s also extremely limited. Beyond the narrow range of light that makes up the familiar colours of the rainbow, is a vast spectrum of light, entirely unseen.

But what if we could see beyond the narrow boundaries of our eyes and peer into this invisible realm?

In ‘Out of Sight’, Richard Hammond does just that, using ground-breaking new imaging technologies to take the viewer on a breath-taking journey of discovery, beyond the visible spectrum, seeing the world, quite literally, in a whole new light.

From death-defying aerial repairmen in the United States, using ultraviolet cameras to seek out an invisible force that lurks unseen on power lines, to German scientists unlocking the secrets of animal locomotion with the world’s most powerful moving x-ray camera, and infra red cameras that can finally reveal the secrets within a humble beehive, he shows how new technologies are letting us see our world anew.

I'm 100% ready for it in front of my 1080p 47" screen (unfortunately BBC1 is in SD but it's actually quite good in quality).

Now that was interesting. I have learned quite a lot of new things, and of course I gave special attention to the flowers. Wink

Well, they left out quite a bit, the butterflies, spider sequences etc. all that did not make it,
but well, it was nicely done and the whole episode had a storyline the "normal",
non scientific person hopefully could understand - that there is much more than
what our limited human senses can perceive!

I've recorded it OK Klaus! Smile It was similar to the first episode - no real depth - but very interesting. Is there a link where I can find out about your equipment and techniques?
