The first one is very powerful, Bob.
Normally it's not good to have face hidden in a photo but in this case this adds mistery and energy to the scene.

I like both, but the hand in #2 is very expressive.

No 1 is simply excellent. There's mystery in it, as said by others.

No 2 is nice also, but the beard keeps distracting me to real force in the pic.

I like this focal length and looking for more. Which 80mm is this? Didn't Zeiss use at least 2 different configuration at this length, maybe more? I know one is Tessar and the other Biometar. Or are they simply the same, just different bodies?

I have read somewhere, non-authoritative piece, that Tessar is not really optimized for fl longer than 50mm. Any truth in that? Looking by your photo, I think that writing piece will remain non-authoritative.

These are both really excellent.
The First is timeless in B+W. Very mysterious.
