Well, just out of curiosity and since the title “Light is my Language” matches the intentions of my work,
I submitted that photo at flickr and the Zeiss contest gallery is HERE.

Just got noticed today that it was selected as one of the last 10 for the last round.
Now voting will be done by the flickr community by adding a photo as their favorite.

I would be happy for your support, should you like my work!

Thanks,

That's the best from your UV work what I've seen so far, really stunning!
... like a firework-shot with dark-sky background.

Cheers
Tobias

YESS - exactly that was my intention!!

Thanks to all for your comments and support!

I know that the competition is strong and since I'm doing some "exotic stuff" here it may not have a chance
for a mass public, but well I made it at least into the finals!

But who knows ... it is over when it's over and not before! Wink Wink

It's clear where James Cameron got his ideas for the movie "Avatar" from. Have you sued him already, Klaus? Smile

I wish you much luck!

hee hee Peter, and I borrowed his idea to do it in stereo (which I'm able to now...)

Klaus, yours is, by far, the best in the group.
Your image is truly unique.

To my eyes, many of the others are boring cliches.

I favorited it and hope everyone else will too.

Klaus, you have earned my support with your image and as it has reached the Top 10 I am not the only one your work has convinced.

I voted for yours as I find it, in that series of photos, to be the only one that conveys the power of photography both visually as well as technically: it shows what the eye did or could not see because that, by my definition, is the real power of photography and the tools that enable it.

Well, I made it no. 5 out of 10 - not too bad for such "exotic stuff" I'm doing Wink

Thanks for all your support!

Congratulations! That is a great result.
This fantastic image is definitely no mainstream photography and thus perhaps not the typical "winner" of such a contest.
