Voytek! OVER THE TOP! Simply and unequivocally gorgeous.

The first image is a cacophony of red hues, intermixed with
gorgeous orange. The depth of field here is well thought-out,
and the foreground rose is a rhythmic lead-in to the red bud
as the main subject. Then, the fade-off of the background,
provides a truly fine feeling of depth. And that's where this image
really comes to the forefront - the dimensionality!

Image #2, the rose is ALREADY such a beautiful piece of work,
with the pasteline pinks turning to yellow and white. It almost
seems like candy, rather than blossoms!

Fine work, fine electronic framing, and superior composition.

Nesster, the second image is KILLER. There is a "world" of elements in the image, almost like a montage, to explore with the eye. Really truly a fine shot.

Every time I dip into this thread I am amazed at the quality and diversity of the world of flowers and those who picture them. And what a vast range of lenses are in use to do this!

I guess I shouldn't put my feeble efforts right after Cledry's fabulous pictures, but here I go:

The yellow flowers I found in my neighbour's garden.
D 700 with Elmarit 90mm, ISO 320, @f8:

These pastell-coloured blossoms also grow in a garden not far from where I live.
This one is a close-up with the MIR-20N 20/3.5 at ISO 320 @f8.
The bokeh with the visible hexagonal blade shapes is far from ideal, but I find it always astonishing how close you can get with 20mm lenses:

And here is a 100% crop:

Not bad at all for a 20mm wide-angle, I must say.

The third photo is the blossom of Passiflora caerulea, garnished with an ant. I can't find the exact data now, but I think it was taken with the Micro Nikkor 55/2.8 and a PK-13 ring:
