See, this is why I tell my kids that the really smart ones don't need to bother with college. If I succeed in persuading them I can then use their college funds for more productive purposes.

Yes, Super-Elmar-R 1:3.5/15 is in indeed made by Carl Zeiss and is similar in optical structure to Distagon 3.5/15; however, the lens coating is different as it need to have same color rendition with other R-lenses.
