I think this is the most appropriate places to post these photos.
Here is my samples from various occasions when Canon camera failed
to write to Hexer 133X speed CF card. I named them since the exact
same card never gave me any trouble with Nikon D70 in the past.
The camera was EOS 350D and 5D (less often), and could not predict
when it fails.
The whole picture is as follows, it gets worse after the half of image is written to the card. The rests are parts of whole images.
Click to enlarge some of pics in the above, this is a new feature for this site for a while.
I wonder whether photoshop guru can make them or not. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

Interesting unintentional art you have there. You might want to reformat the card. Something must be wrong. _________________

I think that issues usually turns up when the camera is writing too fast for the card to read. I've had the same problem with pictures when running in burst mode a few times. I suppose sectors on the memory card may also be failing, especially if it's had a long and busy life. |

As you guys mentioned, the card eventually failed totally. So it is unusable now, I cannot make more of those.
I guess the card was a little faulty from the beginning, but did not show its weakness until later time. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.
