Shocked

Magnificent shot. The perspective is unique and really plays well with my eyes. The overall tonality and the careful composition here has turned out a superb piece of work. WOW!

HI Dave Smile I love your quote - this is propably not the original table but very early made -- read this:

Although now known to have been constructed in the 14th Century, and repainted in its present form for King Henry VIII, the table has for centuries been venerated by generations of tourists as the mysterious table of the 'Once and Future King' Arthur.

The names of the 24 knights are written around the edge of the 5.5 metre diameter table, weighing 1200kg, surmounted by King Arthur on his throne.

Aorund 14th century -- made by Tudors and I love this idea:

The theory was that Arthur had his knights sit at a round table so none of his knights would think that they were more important than any of the other knights, because there was no head or foot on a round table.

hi scsambrook -- this is interesting:

In different versions of the legend, there are 12, 24, 50, 250 and 1600 knights! There is no way to make a definitive list.

Very Happy Very Happy

this is shot with Distagon 2.8/28 !! (cropped) - a magic lens for small money ... and it's good for traveling ..

it's explains my perspective shot with Distagon 1.4/35 --

By the way -- that guy with a tripod was trying about something --

I wasn't so brave to tell him -- try some manual lenses and your life gets better Smile
and you in some cases you don't have to spend too much money Smile
