It's worth more than £50.00 to get bokeh like that, surely! Very Happy

I've got the older version by Meyer. Image quality surprised me as I didn't think it would be sharp.

Oh and I paid £5 for mine. Thread about it here.

I almost bought a well-used Meyer 135 but I stumbled onto a near-mint Pentacon and had to have it. Smile

Here is a shot of my daughter I took this morning;

Welcome, Wally.
It's one of the best 135s, but as has been said, there aren't many bad ones and the bokeh of the Meyer /Pentacon is definitely amongst the best, imo. Whatever you paid for it, it's still a bargain.

Lovely shoot with a great lens!

Oooh mine arrived today and it's the newer style preset, not the zebra as I thought! Locely condition Smile

Also received an electric 6 blade version, although it has some light fungus inside, which is a shame as I was hoping to sell it for a profit Sad

Still, can't compain!

Very nice both!
Congratulations.

Newest pre-set, How many blades?

Same as zebra?

PostPosted: Fri Mar 13, 2009 9:49 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

Zebra is better lens than newest pre-set.

Well, now I have two lenses to buy: biotar 1,5/75 (prefer not the fat ones) and the zebra 2,8/135 orestor Wink

Better in which way? Lower contrast (~smoother skin-tones)?
