Autumn arrived heavily this week here in Austria.

Personally autumn is the season which I personally like most for shooting outdoors. Not only because of the great colors, also because one gets reminded on the circle of life ...

I think everybody has some great autumn photographs on HDs/film. Share them with us in this thread:

To begin with: this is from a yesterdays hike in my neighbourhood ...

- various SMC lenses
- only one stiched shot this time: #1

I already know what will happen in this thread: at some point poilu will post his "autumn" pictures and we all will end up being green with envy! Laughing

Klaus

Those relay shots are amazing and fascinating. Still don't understand how you do them Embarassed Embarassed

Arkku - very fine shot

Orio

When I was at school we had a "strawberry tree" that could shelter about 20 boys under its canopy. Memories....

They are an amazing species. White flowers and multicoloured fruits on the tree at the same time. Fruits are here, I am waiting for the flowers, but perhaps they will not come since I transplanted them this year.

@patrickh
1st shot is amazing. it makes it also a bit weird because the water level is not straight.

@darosk
we would not have noticed, great shot

@Klaus
really cool ! which lens are you using there ?

@Arkku
I prefer the 2nd shot, the becklight situation is really nice.

@Orio
I don't know this plant neither, BUT it looks tasty Smile

Hi,

here few images from the area nearby our house.

The little church was a pilgrimage church long time ago and the groundbreaking was 1000 years ago.

Pic 1 & 2 with Contax G2 and 28mm on slide film, Pic 3 (sorry for that
with Canon EF 24-105L) very early in the morning

Thanks for viewing

Fantastic shots Rolf!!

About Relay Lens:
a very small wide angle lens projects its image into a 1:1 relay lens system which itself projects its image into a camera lens which projects its image to the camera sensor. That's it in principle, but the difficulties lie in the details of doing that. This is built into a tube and allows to get very close to the soil, flowers, animals, etc. The downside is that this whole contraption is very slow (high effective aperture) i.e. needs lots of light and the max. resolution is rather limited also due to diffraction.

It only looks. The fruits have no taste Laughing At least to me. My mother thinks they're good. But I think she's wrong Laughing
