Klaus. rolf, lahnet and all - what a fab collection. Almost makes giving up summer worthwhile. The colours in particular are breathtaking

Masterly display. Between your eye and the quality of the glass this is a tour de force.

Yes, I realise every day morning when I am looking out of my window ...

that's a very nice photograph. Looks like late-autumn, pretty cold and early in the morning.
I was counting the ducks - 9 ???

I´m a inquisitive guy - where is this area within Austria ?

yes, there are 9 ducks - whereat some ducks were Eurasian coots Wink . The image was shot mid of November, pretty cold and early in the morning - very good. The name of this lake is "Kleiner Brombachsee" in Bavaria, approx. 50-60 km southwest of Nuremberg

This area is at the border Salzburger Land - Tyrol - Bavaria. The city where I live is called Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer, near Zell am See and Saalbach-Hinterglemm (which are famous skiing places). The Central-Alps are ~10min. away, the Berchtesgadener Alpen with Hochkönig und Steinernes Meer are around the town. The Photographs are taken within this mountain groups.

Cheers
