I did not use too much this lenses, especially Planar. Perhaps it is not the sharpest lens wide open - but the colours/contrast/bokeh like very much. Most are shot wide open Wink

Someone go out which are shooted with Contax Sonnar ? Wink

nice series, movies actor cat
great demonstration that show how bokeh of a lens varies according situation
the quiz is too easy as you have already uploaded samples on flickr Very Happy
difficult to believe that the planar is not sharp enough, you have see my samples who outresolve the 5DII wide open

Thx!
Is sharp but i know there are lenses which are sharper Wink Most of this shots are wide open. At f/2 this lens is very very sharp and have more microcontrast - difference is relatively large in my eyes - but at f/1.4 is a lot of soft-sharp magic Wink
I post some crops in this topic http://forum.mflenses.com/zeiss-planar-t-50-1-4-ze-t28689.html
Love ths lens a lot colours&bokeh are very special

Btw I forgot that this shot on Flickr is visible to all Wink

I love those, Karabud! Great color and bokeh, it's these kind of pictures where you can feel that Zeiss uniqueness in color rendition. Smile
