Well, now I'm sure Smile

The advantage would be the use of Praktica B lenses together with the ability to reach infinity focus with them (besides the fact that can be used only one adapter for many kind of lenses).

@VGR
Nice piece of design to make it universal. The combined adapter+chip looks like a winner.
I would suggest you have a permanent link in your sig to the product, so newcomers can see it and it avoids any activity that some might view as spamming.

I have an Olympus E-300 + an Olympus E-1. I know it not works on E-1, can use chipped adapter on E-1 even if not works like a simple not chipped one ? I would use adapter on both camera.

Praktica B Now low-cost and very attractive! my Prakticar 50/1.4 I have bought for $50 and Through adapter XXX-4/3 it becomes ideal for Olympus 4/3...

Hi,
I use a Oly €-330. This was the first DSLR with Live View. The Live View Modi has a 10X magnification. Manual Focusing is easy. Not good is the Crop Ratio 1:2, for wide angle photos. A 20mm lens will be 40mm. If you use Tele lenses is the Crop Ratio good. A 200mm lens will be 400mm.

Regards
Imre

VGR - what a great set!
Now only thing that I need is a Peleng 8mm, but is terribly expensive in Poland (above 330 €). Probably I'll import this lens from USA, where is much cheaper (~250 € including shipping and pay-pal costs). VGR - how much it costs in Belarus? This lens is great for 4/3 system - it gives the field of view about 160 degrees (diagonal) without black corners Cool

In the Belarus new Peleng costs $300

I want to buy too Wink

The prices have risen earlier it cost $100 Crying or Very sad

Thanks for the answer! 300$ = ~203 €. It isn't a big price for such wonderful lens! Unfortunately I live in western Poland so travel to Belarus is quite expensive Sad
By the way - in the past Peleng costed 100$... I'm shocked Very Happy

VGR, Is it possible for you to design and manufacture Contax/Yashica adapter for Nikon bodies? I know that there would not be inifnity focus, but for some uses it would be great (portraits with 85/1.4, 135/2.8, etc...)
how about Exacta adapter to Nikon/Canon body?

I think you would be able to use those lenses only as macro (real closeup, detail), I don't think you will be able to fit a whole face in the frame in correct focus.

Does anybody have any examples of the Peleng on 4/3? Or a link to some?
I find I am looking at the idea of a 4/3 as a second/third body.
I'm always very impressed with the RAW file quality I see from friends 4/3 cameras.

I have with 18mm Olympus and 17mm Tamron SP, but don't have with any fish eyes.
