Soft, terrible colours, flares everywhere!
Crap lens.

Better send it to me so that I can dispose it properly.

Hi Orio, my faves are 12, 13, 17 & 19.

Is that the area around your village ? Seems to be a calm place. I like it and good places to shot nice images - as we can see.

Wink

Edit: Yes, it is nearby. Tried to find it at Google earth, approx. 15 km away.

Yes, it's my surroundings. My hometown is on the hills that mark the beginning of the Apennines mountain chain (of the Emilian part of the Apennines, that is). What you see here is some of the hills at the border between the provinces of Parma and Piacenza. If you look North in picture #19 you can (barely) see the Alps. They are almost confused with the clouds, but if you look closely, especially on the right, you can glimpse a darker strip before the much darker nearer landscape begins. That faint darker strip is the Alps. On clear days you can see them well. Between here and the Alps there is the river Po big plain.

P.S. in picture #20 there is a hidden dog Smile

Yes, I found him in the reflector. Is it your dog ?

Great visibility, beeline must be round about 100 km + from this point to the beginning of the Alps (Lake Garda area)

No, he was hanging around there. A bit timid a the beginning, but then allowed me to cuddle him Smile

Yes, correct, about 100-120 km distance from the Alps (Lake Garda is a bit more on the right -east- though).
You're very good at geography Smile

Oh thank you. I know your fine country very well 35 years now, and maybe it is easier for me to write down where I´m not visited than vice versa.
There are some area at the south east side, Calabria and Sicilia as well.

Ah yes, and Isola di Capri and the great sundown I have missed until now. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Orio

Good to see you outside again and thanks for the trip. That is marvellous countryside, with great wines and even better food. The lens is an amazingly good piece of glass - quite the surprise, as are several of those Yashicas. Your eye remains clear

Beautiful images - congrats.

I love my Yashica 24 ML, too.
... but the 21 ML is really compareable to the Zeiss 21.

It absolutely is ! Wink

On the hills of Piacenza some important native grapes are produced. The most famous is probably Bonarda (red). From Bonarda grapes the Bonarda wine is produced (with only Bonarda grapes), and also Gutturnio wine (red) which is a mix of Bonarda grapes and Barbera grapes (of Piedmont origin).
Amongst the white grapes, the most important native one is Trebbiano, which is native of the Trebbia valley, in the Piacenza province. The Trebbiano grapes are exported all over the world because they are important for the production of Cognac. Here we use them mostly to produce the white wine of the same name, Trebbiano. We also produce Malvasia.
The province of Parma is not as important for wine, there is only one important one which is called Fortana (red), which is made with the grapes of the same name, that are native of the valley of river Taro (in the province of Parma). The production of this wine dates back to the Renaissance age.
