The Auto Tak 55mm f1.8 'Zebra' that was released in 1958 on the Pentax K is the prettiest Normal lens of all time. It also works well.

The Auto Tak 55mm f2 on the far right deserves honorable mention!

ROKKOR 58/1.2
uses it to fashion photography. Customers are amazed at the quality.
The Biometar 80/2.8 P6 MC does not remain behind, though it is not normal Laughing Laughing

My 0.02

Zeiss Planar T* 50/1.4 (modern SLR version). The Voigtländer SL II 58/1.4 is almost identical looks, but the chrome ring on the front of the lens brings the trophy home for Zeiss.

+1

Zeiss hands down has some of the best looking lenses in the world. My all time favo is the CZ 24-70 f2.8 for Sony Alpha range.

At first I thought it ought to be possible as the Contarex register distance is 46 mm as opposed to the EOS 44 mm. However, due to the mount structure the lens cannot achieve infinity focus even when set flush to an EOS body, the maximum focusing distance is then less than 1 m! Further, there will be other problems if the lens is modified just to allow infinity focus. Firstly, as you can see, there is no aperture ring. Secondly, on an FF EOS, the mirror will most probably hit the protective tube of the back element. So I have given up the idea - especially as I didn't pay a penny for the lens and a nice looking but nonfunctional Bullseye Contarex.

Very nice lens, I really like the look of the chrome Yashinons. I like the camera also. I have the TL Electro X.

What an astonishing looking lens - it's really futuristic looking. What era is it? I've got a Meritar, but it looks nothing like this one - mine is more in the look of a chrome Helios or Biotar.

I don't give a damn what a lens looks like as long as it performs well.

I'd much rather hear a guitar than look at one too.

Call me old skool.
