These are some quick samples from last week...not brilliant but it is my technique and the dodgy light rather than the lens, I'm sure!

Absolutely superb! They're all great but the first and the last one is just outstanding. BTW where were they taken?

Wow thanks for the kind words! I struggled with the macro technique to be honest, the butterfly centre was very hot and it took 10 mins in boiling temperatures for the fogging in the camera and lens to evaporate! I was sweating badly by the time I got to take any photos Laughing

I really struggle with close-ups and I would have been over the moon with any of those (except maybe the pigeon, which is just plain weird Shocked ).
