The colours are terrific - many russian lenses seem to be able to provide these very well saturated colours. Love the last but one

Wonderful colours! My favourites are #2 and #6. The photos are all shot at full aperture, I believe. Must dig my Mir-24 from the drawer again...

s5 helped; but this lens is excellent in "some lightning situation"(sun rising etc)

Great colors. I especially like the composition on #2 and#3.
I have a MIR 3.5/20 and it also seems to produce rather vivid colors.

Hmmmm, I think I'll need to be adding some Mirs into my collection (used to have a Mir-26B for MF, but sold that away---stupidly, before I purchased a Pentacon Six).

Hi,
very good colors indeed. I love in particular the leaves shots. Good choice of lighting.

The MIR-24N was the very first lens I ever bought.
I'm talking about 25 years ago!

The lens is still with me.

Must mean something, doesn't it? Wink

Woah! No-one told me about this lens! Laughing

I've been looking for a fastish 35mm for a while now, and was about to splash out for a beat up Nikon 35/2...well the results for the Mir-24N I've seen so far are nothing short of stunning! I'd only really use if as a standard lens, so not too fussed about borders. Found one on ebay, and probably paid a little too much, but hey - it's less than half the price of the Nikon I was going to buy Surprised

nice! I'd suggest this lens for a person who would use (and own) only one lens on crop sensor camera. Its great walkaround lens.
