I have exactly one AF lens for my 5D: the old Canon EF 28-70mm 3.5-4.5 II. I chose this lens from the film era because I've read that this comes VERY close to Canon's L glass for overall IQ. Closer than other Canon kit & consumer zooms. Or so I was told...

Pascal will know where this is located in Zwolle Smile

Beautiful, moody images!

If you want to have only one Canon lens, I would pick the 24-70 f/2.8.
Fast, sharp, weather-sealed, decent close-up, fast AF... It is hard to beat.
Of course, the 28-70 is probably a lot cheaper.
I am not willing to sell my copy of the 24-70, even after
getting 21,28,35,50,85 and 35-70 mm Zeiss lenses.

Very nice photos, I especially like the first one because of the foreground details.
