Please show us some Taïr shots of some eaten shoes... or eaten piece of furniture...
Mine is called Titan.
Tobby... Oliver, it's me... I confess some times I bark a little...
I'm not from Merignac.
I live in Boulogne sur Mer in northern France, just above the Somme bay where there is a beautiful birds reserve. We have also some families of seals in this bay.
Boulogne sur Mer is a port of fishermen at sea. _________________ Olivier - Moderator

Jupiter 9 is great, but look for the m39 silver versions as their a little better than the m42 black ones. Most of the Jupiters are good lenses, but there are occasional `Friday afternoon' lenses.
As for Helios 44-2, it's a great lens & cheap (I have 2 ). 40-2 is a little pricey so I've not bought one of these.......yet. _________________ Casual attendance these days |

I don't have a real opinion on the Helios-44 as I have the 44M since 1979, year of my purchase of my first reflex : a zenith EM "Mokba 80". On the 40-D I found it medium. I should give it another trial.
The Helios-40. I have it in its alu version, M39 converted to M42.
It's huge and heavy. It's a beautiful piece of metal and glass and a pleasure to handle and work with. Results are astonishing and very pleasant.
