Mother - Then & Now

This is an image of my mother taken when she was 16. I found it at her house a short while ago. I scanned it and removed the sepia tone and cloned some small blemishes out; other than that it is as it was shot.



Here she is a few weeks ago (now 80). Spotmatic, Tamron SP 90, Nikon SB28 Speedlight. Film was FP4.

So taken in 1945 ( i have count ^^ ) The original one looks like taken nowadays, already great tones. The last one is quite good with this smile on her face and the light, good work Very Happy

Quite touching, Martin. I feel like when I look at the photos of my mother.
Ain't it funny how everything changes when growing old, except for the gaze?
Eyes are timeless.
