Stunning quality!
Especially for picture #1 it is quite hard to believe it is made with a colour negative film. Shocked

Orio and Attila, thanks! Love my Koni's! Smile Here are 2 with my 1937
Bessa RF though not as analytical, I like the feeling it conveys:

Thanks, Patrick, it has been the best money I've spent on photo
equipment, for sure. Wink

Cheers, Marty.

No, Marty, that probably won't ever happen, either. Wink

Thanks for your comments! Smile

Simply wonderful!!!

Even on a monitor, the quality comes through. I am in total agreement with the others.

Also, I agree with you in that the Koni has GOT to be one of the best purchases you've ever made in photography. What a BEAST, and what a BEAUTY! Laughing

The Bessa is NO SLOUCH either. I was "wondering" a little on the first Bessa image, with the possible softness of the infinity background. But then, I rolled down to the second image and the apparent exceedingly sharp lens shows its stuff.

Klaus and Laurence, thanks for your comments!

Laurence, I might have misfocused (new word) or had it set to too wide
an aperture in the first shot. I remember checking to make sure I was
at least f16 shooting down into the water on the 2nd one.

Thanks again, guys! Smile

BTW, have more Koni negs that I will scan tomorrow.

Yes Sir !

I repeat what Orio has written.

"Especially for picture #1 it is quite hard to believe it is made with a colour negative film."
What type of scanner (and software) you are using for your process ? It looks very, very good.

Wink

The Koni-Omega is a great piece of kit in your magic hands, and I don't believe the fourth shot was made with a pre-war Bessa RF. No way, you're cheating! Very Happy

(Damn; I really should start repairing the bellows of my own Bessa RF with Heliar lens )

Fantastic colors especially in #1 and #4.

Cheers

Your Heliar lens will be even better ...

Rolf, Peter, Tobias, and Excalibur, thanks for your comments! As Attila
mentioned, the Heliar is at the top of the Voigtlander line in the 30's. The
Helomar if focused correctly doesn't do a bad job for an uncoated lens.

Rolf, I use an Epson 4490, Epson software (USM set to LOW or OFF, no
other settings) then run the files through Bibble 4. There are a few of us
that are Bibble fans, I'm one of them. I scan 120 at 1200dpi and 35mm
at 2400dpi.

Thanks again, gents.
