Some more samples from yesterday. Converted from raw and minor sharpening.

Most shots wide open.

Amazing.

#3 shot makes the illusion that bokeh is a liquid surface.

DISTAGONITIS = inflammation in the brain

cure.............?

Very Happy

what a complete crap - the background is completely blurry and not sharp at all - and then this abrupt sharpness which really hurt my eye.

My favourites are the first portrait and the picture with the shells. The second one especially looks interesting and the DOF is well played.

By looking at the many pictures one would doubt if you're more in love with the girl or with the lens Wink Laughing just kidding Very Happy

I am not convinced by the colour for the frames. In my humble opinion the frame should mark a difference from the picture, not mix with it.

Heheh, I hope it's the girl Smile ...

About framing: thanks for your honest opinion. I am just practising at the moment ... and also not sure yet what fits best. Anyhow framing is a very difficult subject.

hi tobbias

I think that the framing is not an issue in this case.

When some presentation needs to be done - it could be.

The quality these pics is good enough.

Concerning framing:
I am quite a fan of Spotmatics framing. it fits to all kind of shots and looks convincing.
Just wondering if it is a selfmade PP action script ...

Cheers

Thanks Tobias Smile However it's not my own action; I bought one for use in Photoshop. You can get it here: www.absolutesharpening.com. It's written by a fellow Pentaxian. Best of all: it only costs US$ 9.

We won't tell Wink

Nice images... the bokeh is just stunning. Somehow similar to my Sigma SW2 24/2.8, but so much better...
