Just back from Rome early this week. This is the second time for me to this great city. In fact, I am planning the third trip.

I took both Canon 350D+Yashica ML 28mm f/2.8 and Praktica BX20+CZJ Flektogon 20mm f/4 with me. The films are still in the local lab, I will post them later.

Thank you for your words! Smile Early October is a perfect season for a Rome trip. Not too hot, not cold either, and it was always sunny. The only problem is there were too many tourists, though I was just one of them.

This is a fantastic serie. Great captures. The best I like the first one and the St. Peters photograph.
I did a Rome visit some years ago, I have great memories which come back at the moment I have seen this pics.

Tobias

Thanks for the nice series. Last time in Rome was 4 years ago and your pictures brought back the nostalgia for both the incredible city and, well... the divine food Embarassed

Mmmmm, Great shots indeed.

Your BX + FLektogon 20/4 combination seems striking,
this Flektogon is M42 mount one, isn't it?

I am really happy someone is using PRAKTICA BX20!!!!

Thank you.
The Flek is M42 mount, and I have a M42-->PB convert ring. BX20 has a quite strong shutter shake, compared with my yashica FR 1, and I am still learning to control it. Otherwise it is a very nice camera. I am very happy with it.

The first one is indeed stunning! Is it a HDR picture?

Not really. I just tuned shadows and highlights in histogram graph with Lightroom.

Thank you Sandie. Reminds me of a place I used to call home. I loved my time living there and this really brought it back for me

Superb Captures of the great city!
The ones from the forum are really great.

When I visited Rome some years ago I only brought a compact camera with 3 MPix, which feels quite annoying today.
