hi Johanna, the event was a used camera/lens fair. The model company bought a stand to show some of their models and let people photograph them for free. Of course that was done in order to attract potential customers.

Thanks Bill.
Have you noticed how the "accent" of the colour photos is in the soft tones of blonde hair and pink sweater, while with the B&W photo, the attention shifts decidedly to the contrast between the light hair and the dark eyes?
This kind of things shows the power of the B&W not to change the reality, but to make the mind focus on different things than what we perceive in colour.
