"Grasberge" in Pinzgau, near Zell am See, Austria.

Don't know the English name for Grasberge, ... meadow mountains ?
Ther're perfect for skiing in the winter Wink

I've never been there but I love these places. When did you go there?

Tobias
You must be very fit with all this hiking, but I really appreciate that you share these wonderful scenes with us

Depends on what you associate with "fit" Laughing
The tours which we make are not so difficult. No risky climbing stuff, I've quite some vertigo.
This tour war actually pretty tiring. It was written in a hiking book "4-5 hours tour". We were fast but it was more than 8 hours Wink ... feet hurt and one gets pissy about the author of the book.

That was late October.

I am pretty sure about the appertures:
- no tripod (I really don't enjoy to carry it with a long hike)
- with the polarizer ones I used f8
- without polarizer: I use in daylight/bluesky situations f9 or f11, depends on the actual light. One gets a safe shutterspeed from about 1/160 to 1/250 then.

Great clarity and crispness in the shots. This looks like one heck of a lens. Great area too.. I am missing the sun and green now that we are getting locked in with snow Crying or Very sad . But that's ok, because snowshoeing provides a different look at scenes like this.. Very Happy
