Last week we took off to Loon Lake, which is inland from the ocean by about 15 miles. Up in the mountains and so cool. A few samples of snaps taken
1. Stream running down from lake with Mamiya 50/2 ML (I like this lens

2. Herd of wild elk feeding in meadows alongside river, taken with Vivitar 135/2.8 CF

3. Resting from their efforts a bit later. With nikkor 105/1.8

A nature's paradise place - so many elks all together, would be nearly impossible here. Would love some of that peace near my home.

Nice! And yes, Mamiya 135 lenses are often good and underrated.

Great wildlife captures!
I would be happy to encounter at least one elk when I have the camera with me.

And so cool... that would do me, it's bloody 102 in my yard here in Portland at the moment, and not an elk in sight, just the odd silly ass out for a jog.... Smile
